About 27 minutes from campus and located in Mount Laurel is Lascala’s Prontos. When having a taste for Italian, the small trip is worth it. Offering the perfect comfort food, their menu has a variety of authentic Italian dishes. Whether you’re in the mood for pizza or pasta, they have it all.

Their menu is quite large including all sorts of starters and entrees. With over 15 appetizers, it may be hard to choose just one to get the meal started. Baked eggplant with mozzarella cheese, ricotta, and marinara sauce. Sausage and peppers with sweet onions, marinara sauce, and grilled Italian bread on the side. Stuffed Italian Long Hots with provolone, prosciutto, and served with grilled Italian bread. Their starters are so good they can even be ordered as an entree.

If you’re in the mood for pasta, Pronto’s makes 14 different pasta dishes. At the top of the list is their Rigatoni Vodka with pancetta, sun-dried tomatoes, and a thick tomato cream sauce. Equally delicious is the Tortellini Rosa served with grilled chicken, mushrooms, prosciutto, and rosa sauce. For a simpler pasta, they have savory home-style baked lasagna and cheese ravioli.

Other entrees include Chicken Alla Romana, Chicken Parmigiana, Chicken Sorrento, Chicken San Remo, and Chicken Marsala. Each of their chicken entrees are served with freshly baked Italian bread and you can add Caesar salad as a side.

Lascala’s Prontos’s menu offers a selection of pizzas such as flatbread, brick oven, and gourmet pizza. Margherita, Sirloin, Fig, and Gorgonzola flatbread pizzas are all cooked to perfection. Some of their most interesting gourmet pizzas include the Philly Cheesesteak, Italian, and Buffalo Chicken. All of their gourmet pizzas are mixed with a variety of flavors that will excite your taste buds.

Sometimes, you just want regular pizza and that’s okay. Their brick oven pizza is the perfect way to go. You can order a classic and add all your favorite toppings.
