Accessibility of Technological Resources at Rutgers Camden

You can shop for computers, tablets, gaming systems, and accessories”, according to the Rutgers Camden Kite+key website.
Accessibility of technology for students is important at Rutgers Camden. There is a computer lab, library with computers, and a technology store called “Kite+key.” The RU Camden It-Help Desk can assist students with logging into their Rutgers accounts and emails as well as information about printing access and much more is provided.
Alexis Hatfield, a student at Rutgers Camden, appreciates the assistance Kite+Key and the computer lab provides at Rutgers Camden, “…I think it’s very good for students who don’t have laptops or access to technology due to financial reasons or lack of resources. I also think it’s good that there is technological assistance when using new software.”
“I’m not sure how accessible entering kite and key is with the stairs” Nicola, a senior at Rutgers Camden, explained. Kite+Key has gone under construction since the Summer of 2025, providing challenges and possible confusion for students.
Technology plays a major role in most college students’ lives. Hatfield continued, “I use it for everything. I’m on my phone 24/7. Even the hospital I work at relies heavily on technology and different systems. Technology is important and without it many components in my life could not function.”
