Student Government Approves $2500 to Help Pay for Snowball Dance

On Monday, January 27, 2014, the Rutgers-Camden Student Governing Association (SGA) conducted their General Body Meeting.

As a demonstration of setting the example, the SGA conducted their meeting without any food or beverages, just like many student organizations will now have to do during their meetings on campus due to budget cuts.

The SGA approved appropriating $2,500 to the Campus Activities Board (CAB) for the Snowball dance.  This approval means that purchasing tickets for the dance will be significantly lower in costs for students at Rutgers.

There will be a Senator’s report meeting on February 21, 2014 and the SGA encouraged students to attend.

Next meeting is February 10, 2014 at 4:30p.m. in the Executive Conference Room in the Campus Center.
