I happen to be a Christian and a friend of mine keeps Christian bashing.I know everyone is entitled to their opinions but I’m starting to feel
They don’t teach this in Sunday School
Dear they don’t teach this in Sunday School,
Your right everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but that doesn’t mean that your friend should continue to offend you. You need to have a talk with you friend and express how her statements are offending you. Tell her that you appreciate her opinion but when it turns into “bashing” that’s when you being to feel uncomfortable. Make sure you give her a specific example of when she said something offensive and if you notice that the behavior continues then you should separate yourself and limit the amount of time you spend with her. A real friend wouldn’t continue to hurt your feelings. There is a difference between being truthful and hurtful.
I like a guy but I don’t know if he likes me. What do I do?
He might be into me
Dear he might be into me,
I know the feminist thing to tell you would be to talk to him and let him know that you like him, but I’m a little old fashioned when it comes to dating. I believe that a man should chase a women. So he I were you I would make sure that I was dressed well everything I saw him. My hair would be done and I would make sure I smelled good. Male him notice you, and think of you as more than a friend. Be patient and eventually he will come to you.
There is this girl on campus that I have a negative history with. We don’t speak but it’s starting to become awkward. Should I bury the hatchet with her or just ignore it?
Women can be catty
Dear women can be catty,
You really shouldn’t care that this girl doesn’t like you. If you tried to avoid everyone that didn’t like you for one reason or another, you would never leave your house. You already know that women are going to be “catty” so you shouldn’t feel awkward about being around people that abt that way. Continue doing what you need to do and ignore this person. Don’t feed into her immaturity.
