Davy Jones Dead

Last week, Monkees’ former front-man Davy Jones suffered a severe heart attack. He was rushed to a Florida hospital, but was pronounced dead on the morning of Wednesday, February 28th. He will be remembered by his many fans for his mellifluous voice and his natural stage presence.

Google Owns Your Information

Google now tracks your journey through the internet in the websites you visit, the content of your individual emails, the YouTube videos you watch, and the specifics of your google+ profile, according to NPR News. All in an attempt to cater advertisements to consumer’s purchasing proclivities.

Mitt Romney Double Victory

Willard Mitt Romney won the Arizona and Michigan primaries last week. In Michigan, Romney’s home state, Santorum lost by an unexpectedly narrow margin.

Tornado Ravages Illinois

Last week, Harrisburg, Illinois was devastated after a tornado passed through the town killing at least 10 people. The storm system caused vast devastation in Kansas and Kentucky as well.

Ohio High School Shooting

On Monday, February 26th, T.J Lane opened fired on his Chardon, Ohio High School, killing 3 students and injuring 2. Lane has been preliminarily charged as a juvenile but the prosecutor is pushing to try him as an adult, according to the Associated Press.
