In an attempt to alleviate the financial pressures of operating a huge company with massive net losses of 1.5 billion for the fourth quarter, Best Buy decommissioned 50 of its big box storefront locations. The closings were a part of the company’s plan to restructure. In the restructure, Best Buy will open up a chain of 100 new mobile locations. The restructure hopes to save 800 million dollars by 2015.

Last week, Monkees’ former front-man Davy Jones suffered a severe heart attack. He was rushed to a Florida hospital, but was pronounced dead on the morning of Wednesday, February 28th. He will be remembered by his many fans for his mellifluous voice and his natural stage presence.
